Juicy Marble Cake

The perfect juicy marble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 6 piece Eggs (M)
  • 100 Milliliters Milk
  • 75 Milliliters Cream
  • 360 g Wheat flour
  • 12 g Baking powder
  • 150 g Dark chocolate couverture
  • 18 g Baking cocoa
  • 10 g Vanilla sugar
  • 2,5 g Salt
  1. Beat the softened butter, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar with a hand mixer for about 7 minutes until the mixture is white and frothy.
  2. Mix flour and baking powder and stir half into the butter and egg mixture.
  3. Add the milk, then briefly stir in the remaining flour mixture and finally add the cream.
  4. Put half of the dough in a greased and floured baking pan. Then melt the couverture and let it cool down a little.
  5. Add the couverture and cocoa powder to the rest of the batter and stir well. Place the dark dough on the light dough in the baking pan and use a fork to pull it through the dough in a spiral.
  6. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 55-60 minutes. After baking, let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then flip out of the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Good Appetite!
