Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1,000 g minced beef
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 onions, red
- 2 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 2 tbsp Vegeta, spicy
- 1 tbsp sambal oelek
- 1 pack of parsley, frozen
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp water
- olive oil
- pepper
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Dice the onions and garlic cloves. Add the minced meat to a mixing bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix all ingredients well, adding a little water for the right consistency. If desired, use a little more breadcrumbs. Season the dough with salt and pepper. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours so that all the spices can penetrate well, but this is not necessary. Form the dough into thumb-sized rolls. Fry in hot olive oil, turning frequently to ensure they brown evenly. I like to eat them with tzatziki and rice.
