Kaiserschmarren with coconut, white chocolate and amaretto cherries

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 50 g white chocolate
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • Vanilla extract
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 jar morello cherries, 700 g, drained, collect the juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • n. B. Amaretto
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • some powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Melt the white chocolate, then stir in the milk. Add the eggs, coconut flakes, vanilla extract, and flour and mix well. Heat the cherry juice from the jar and half of the cherries in a saucepan. Mix the custard powder with a tablespoon of sugar and a little water until smooth. Once the cherries are boiling, add the custard powder mix and stir in, remove from the heat, and stir in the amaretto. Heat the coconut oil in a pan, add the batter, and fry to make a Kaiserschmarren. Serve with the amaretto cherries dusted with powdered sugar.
