Kaiserschmarren with apples

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g flour
  • 2 apples
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • n. B. mineral water
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • Butter for frying
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the flour, sugar, milk, egg yolks, rum, baking powder, and mineral water, and fold in the beaten egg whites. Peel and slice the apples. Heat a pan with butter, fry the apples until golden brown, and caramelize with the sugar. Add the egg mixture, fry, and tear into pieces with a spatula. Serve on plates and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
