Kale with smoked pork

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 smoked pork chops, raw
  • 1 jar kale, cooked (approx. 700 g)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 g goose fat
  • 1 tbsp jelly (apple jelly)
  • some salt
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

quick everyday variant

Rinse the meat and pat dry, then cut into bite-sized cubes. Peel the onion and roughly dice it. Heat the goose fat in a large, heavy pot and sauté the diced onion. Add the smoked pork cubes and fry briefly. Reduce the heat to low and cover. After 5 to 10 minutes, add the remaining ingredients, stir, and season with salt, pepper, and apple jelly to taste. Then cover the pot and simmer over low heat. In the meantime, prepare the boiled potatoes and serve both hot.
