Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g margarine
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp water
- 180 g sugar
- 5 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 egg whites
- 2 egg whites
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 100 g desiccated coconut
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
For the chocolate dough, melt the margarine, cocoa, water and sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil briefly. Set the mixture aside and allow to cool slightly. In the meantime, separate the eggs (5 egg yolks together, 3 egg whites together, 2 egg whites together). Stir the 5 egg yolks, one at a time, into the cooled chocolate mixture. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir them into the mixture. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff peaks and carefully fold them in. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. For the coconut dough, beat 2 egg whites with 100g icing sugar until stiff peaks and fold in the coconut flakes. Spoon the coconut mixture onto the chocolate dough in heaps (this will create a cow pattern). Bake at approx. 180°C (top/bottom heat) until the coconut is very lightly browned.
