Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g smoked pork
- 1 bottle of malt beer
- 1 tsp, heaped clove powder
- 3 large onions, quartered
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Leave the roast whole or slice it. Mix the clove powder, salt, and sugar. Rub the mixture all over the roast. Arrange the onion pieces in a roasting tin. Place the roast in the center of the tin. Sprinkle the rest of the sugar mixture over the roast. Baste the roast with the malt beer. Bake the roast at 200 degrees top/bottom heat (180 degrees fan-assisted) for 40 minutes. Serve with the roast juices. Serve with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut.
