It’s that easy to make a perfect tomato sauce.

This recipe is for a very intense, delicious tomato sauce that is very easy to prepare and tastes truly sensational with pasta or, for example, as a pizza sauce. Finely dice the onion, deseed and finely chop the tomatoes, and finely chop the garlic. Sauté the onions in olive oil until translucent. Add the chopped tomatoes and garlic and fry briefly (1-2 minutes), then add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Deglaze with the balsamic vinegar, then add the sugar and reduce until the liquid is quite thick. Deglaze with the beef stock and continue to reduce until the sauce has reached the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper and stir in the finely chopped basil.
