Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 large bell pepper(s), red
- 1 bowl of cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 500 ml broth
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 1 small can of tomatoes
- 1 kg pasta (farfalle)
- 1 kg minced meat, mixed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1 gr. can/n peas and carrots
- 2 tbsp oil
- 350 g cheese
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
for parties or large families
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Heat the oil in a large pot and brown the minced meat until crumbly. Add the spices. Add the peas and carrots, tomato paste, bell pepper pieces, stock, and cherry tomatoes. Mix everything well and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Transfer the pasta to a large casserole dish. Pour the meat sauce over the pasta and mix well. Top with the cheese (grated or sliced). Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (gas mark 4 to 5) for about 1 hour (until the cheese is crispy). Serve immediately.
