Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g meat (frozen kebab meat)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 2 handfuls of sliced ​​mushrooms (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 handfuls of basil, chopped (fresh or frozen)
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • chili powder
  • some olive oil
  • e.g. feta cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Kebab casserole

Dice the onion and bell pepper. Mix the kebab meat with the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and sliced ​​mushrooms. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder, and top with the basil. Finally, drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 40 minutes. Then top with feta cubes, if desired, and bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is soft. Serve with tzatziki, boiled potatoes, and/or bread.
