  • 150 g pumpkin(s) (Hokkaido), pureed, weighed ready for cooking
  • 300 g ice cream, vanilla
  • 250 ml milk, whole milk
  • 35 g brown sugar
  • ¾ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • Whipped cream, for garnishing

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Halve, deseed, peel, and dice the pumpkin. Boil in a little water until soft, purée, and let cool completely. Pour the thawed vanilla ice cream into a blender (or use an immersion blender). Add the milk, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice; mix well and pour into glasses. Whip a little cream, sweetening to taste. Spoon a large dollop into each glass and serve. Depending on the size of the glasses, this will make 2-4 servings. You can also find a homemade pumpkin pie spice recipe in my recipes.
