Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 slice(s) of toast (American toast), or regular brown bread
- 100 g turkey breast, sliced
- 6 slice(s) of tomato(s)
- 20 g butter
- 10 g flour
- 100 g cream
- 100 g cheese, spicy
- 50 g bacon slices
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
American breakfast
Place the toast in a baking dish, arrange the turkey breast slices on top, then top with the tomatoes and season lightly. Make a roux with the butter and flour and add the cream. Cut the cheese into small cubes and stir into the sauce until melted. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the cheese sauce over the tomatoes. Bake in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes until lightly browned. Meanwhile, fry the bacon slices in a dry pan until crispy, then place them on top of the cheese.
