Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g wheat
- 3 liters of water
- 200 g butter
- Salt
- 3 tbsp butter
- Paprika powder, red, hot
- possibly vegetable broth, instant
Instructions

Soak the wheat in water for 24 hours. Drain the soaking water and add about 2 liters of fresh water. Season with salt and pepper; I also add a tablespoon of vegetable broth. Cook over low heat for about 2 hours, until the wheat is tender. Lightly crush the wheat with a wooden spoon and add the 200g butter, blending and crushing thoroughly. Season with salt. Heat the butter in a bowl and add paprika. Then pour over the wheat porridge. Serve warm.
