Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g tiger prawns
  • 250 g butter
  • 3 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, young, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp five-spice powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 ml Cremefine
  • 3 dashes oyster sauce
  • 250 ml chicken broth
  • some oil

Devein the king prawns and rinse thoroughly. Heat a small portion of the spring onions and garlic in oil. Add the prawns and fry briefly on both sides. Add the butter and let it melt. Deglaze with the chicken stock and add the crème fraîche. Bring to a boil, then add the remaining spring onions and garlic. Season with pepper, salt, and sugar, and add five-spice powder and oyster sauce to taste. Serve hot. Tip: For garnish, briefly simmer the green part of a spring onion in the sauce.
