Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 850 g potatoes
  • 300 g sausage, approx. 2-3 knackwursts
  • 2 onions, red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red and yellow
  • some butter
  • some oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash the potatoes and boil them in their skins. In the meantime, finely dice the onion and bell pepper. Peel the knackwurst, halve it, and slice it. Sauté the onion in a little oil, then fry it with the knackwurst until crispy. Add the bell pepper and cook for a while longer. Season everything well with salt, pepper, and paprika. Remove the sausage mixture from the pan and keep warm. Peel the cooked potatoes and slice them. Fry them in butter until crispy. Stir in the sausage mixture and fry for a while longer. Season again with the spices and serve in small pans or on plates. TIP: Instead of knackwurst, you can also use extra sausage/meat sausage.
