Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 800 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 pointed pepper, red
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tsp ajvar
  • olive oil
  • Spice mix (minced meat spice)
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely dice the onion and bell pepper and sauté in a little olive oil for five minutes. Knead the minced meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, ajvar, the pepper-onion mix, and the spices. If you like, you can also add fresh herbs. Then either form them into small balls or string them onto skewers for grilling. Fry the balls in a pan until nicely browned. They’re delicious hot or cold.
