Kohlrabi, carrot, and celery stew with beef sausages

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 380 g kohlrabi
  • 300 g potatoes
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 100 g celeriac
  • 70 g spring onions
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g beef sausages, approx. 2 pieces
  • Salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground
  • Dried lovage, to taste

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 30 minutes

Recipe for a 3.5 l slow cooker, 200 watts

Pour the broth into the ceramic pot and set it to HIGH. Peel and dice the kohlrabi, potatoes, carrots, and celery, then add them to the pot. Season the vegetables with salt and pepper, sprinkle with some lovage, and mix everything well. Cover and simmer the stew for 2 hours. Then add the finely sliced ​​spring onions and sliced ​​sausages to the pot, mix well, and simmer covered for 3 hours on LOW. After this time, take a bite of the vegetables and adjust the seasoning if necessary. Arrange the stew on a plate, garnish, and serve.
