Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg kohlrabi, peeled, diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 60 g herb butter
- 1 ½ tbsp flour
- 375 ml broth
- 2 processed cheese wedges
- 1 mozzarella, roughly diced
- Salt
- pepper

tastes good with boiled ham and boiled potatoes
Melt the butter, briefly sauté the kohlrabi, add the broth, and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain the vegetables and reserve the liquid, then add water to make up to 375 ml. For the sauce, melt the herb butter, add the flour, and sauté gently, stirring constantly. Gradually deglaze with the broth (don’t forget to stir!). Melt the cheese in the sauce, season to taste, and add the kohlrabi.
