Kohlrabi, peppers, and tomatoes with cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large kohlrabi
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 100 ml water
  • 100 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • some basil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • possibly sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and dice the kohlrabi, onions, and garlic. Wash, halve, deseed, and dice the bell peppers. Sauté the onions and garlic in oil. Add the kohlrabi and continue sautéing. Then add the bell peppers. Pour the water over the vegetables and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the cream, tomato paste, and basil, and simmer until the vegetables are tender. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, and herbs.
