Kohlrabi – Strawberries

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g kohlrabi (cleaned and weighed)
  • 250 g strawberries (weighed peeled)
  • 80 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary, small
  • 1 handful of watercress
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Ouzo

an unusual combination with cream cheese and sour cream

Peel the kohlrabi and cut into thin strips (sticks). Rinse and slice the strawberries. Wash the rosemary, pat dry, and remove the leaves. Tear the watercress into small pieces with your fingers. Arrange the kohlrabi and strawberries on a platter or serving plates. Now, make a dressing from the cream cheese and sour cream, fold in the rosemary leaves, season with salt if desired, and drizzle over the kohlrabi and strawberries. Finally, sprinkle with the watercress. Special tip: You can also refine the dressing with a splash of ouzo, if you like. I serve it with baguette or fresh black bread.
