Korean Gochujang Noodles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 serving of Chinese egg noodles
  • n. B. water
  • 70 g mozzarella, grated
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 dashes honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 ½ tsp soy sauce
  • sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the garlic and finely chop or press. Clean the spring onions and slice them into rings. Heat a pan or pot over medium heat and add sesame oil. Add the garlic and fry gently for a few minutes. Add the gochujang and fry for another two minutes. Add 250 ml of water (less if the noodles are cooked), then add the noodles and simmer. Add more water if necessary. Once the noodles are tender, add the soy sauce and honey and sprinkle with mozzarella. Stir until the mozzarella is completely melted. Garnish with spring onions and serve fresh.
