Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g corned beef (from the can)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 800 g potatoes
  • some milk
  • Salt
  • 1 gr. can/n sauerkraut
  • Pickle(s)
  • butter
  • nutmeg
  • Beetroot
  • 4 eggs
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

not pretty, but really tasty

Boil the potatoes. Meanwhile, dice the onion and sauté in a pan with a little oil. Then add the corned beef in small pieces and stir until softened. Mash the cooked potatoes with a little milk, butter, and nutmeg and add it to the pan. Place the sauerkraut in a sieve, rinse it slightly, and then drain it and add it to the pan. Mix everything well and serve with a fried egg, gherkin, and beetroot.
