Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 cucumbers
- ½ onion(s)
- 150 g cream (Rotkäppchen Fresh Country Cream Herbs – lactose-free)
- some sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar (Sprite vinegar)
- some salt
- some pepper, from the mill
- 3 pinches of dill, frozen
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Peel the cucumbers with a vegetable peeler, then coarsely grate them into a bowl using a square grater. Peel the onion and finely dice it. Add the diced onion and all the remaining ingredients to the cucumber shavings and gently fold in. Let it marinate briefly. It’s a great side dish for egg or fish dishes, or as a summer dish with buttered bread.
