Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 head of white cabbage
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 300 g minced meat
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • ¼ liter meat broth
  • 75 g dry sheep’s cheese
  • 2 eggs, 250 ml milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Turkish cabbage pan

Chop or grate the cabbage and onions. Melt the butter and lightly brown the onions. Add the ground beef and fry. Add the cabbage, salt, and paprika and cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Transfer the ground beef mixture to the dish. Mix the tomato paste with the broth and pour over the mixture. Grate the cheese or crumble it over the casserole. Whisk the eggs with the milk and pour over the casserole. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
