Lamb loin on halloumi with sumac

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 lamb loins (250 g each)
  • 2 halloumi
  • 2 tsp sumac
  • n. B. Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook gently at 80 degrees

Preheat the oven to 80 degrees Celsius, placing a shallow dish in the oven. Heat the oil in a heavy-based pan and sear the lamb loins on both sides. Place the lamb loins in the oven for about 25 minutes. Five minutes before the end of the cooking time, sear the two slices of halloumi in a grill pan. Slice the lamb loins, place them on the cheese, and sprinkle with sumac.
