Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 600 g minced lamb
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp sumac
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp, leveled salt
- e.g. olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Finely grate the onions, mince the garlic, and mix both with the salt. Let the onion mixture stand for at least 30 minutes. Squeeze the onions dry and collect the water. Mix all ingredients into the minced meat. Add a little more onion juice if desired. Form the minced meat into balls. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the balls until browned on all sides.
