Lamb Skewers on Yogurt

  • 500 g Minced lamb
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 bunch Fresh coriander
  • 0,5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 8 small Onions
  • 12 Pc. Bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 400 g Yogurt 10% fat
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Work the minced meat with egg, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper into a batter. Wash the coriander and pluck from the stems, chop finely and knead with the minced meat. Form dumplings from the meat dough with moistened hands. Peel the onions and cut into large pieces. Alternate meatballs with onions and bay leaves on wooden skewers. Brush the lamb skewers with the olive oil and grill on the grill or in the oven under the grill for about 8-10 minutes. Serve with the yoghurt.
