Large beans in cream cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g Mettwurst (smoked ham sausages, Cabanossi or ham cubes)
  • 150 ml broth, instant
  • some olive oil
  • 1 jar beans, thick
  • 75 g herb cream cheese (double cream)
  • ½ tsp savory
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Slice the mettenden sausages and fry in oil. Drain the beans and add them. Simmer for a while while stirring. Then deglaze with the broth and stir in the cream cheese. Simmer for ten minutes and season with savory, salt, and pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes.
