Laurenti's breakfast rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 400 g flour
  • 250 ml oat milk (oat drink)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Thick, fluffy, and tender! Heavenly!

Instructions: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Melt the margarine in a small saucepan and then spread it on the bottom of a medium baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour in the oat milk and stir until a loose dough forms. The dough will be a little sticky. Pour the batter into the baking dish (directly over the melted margarine). Some of the margarine may run over the dough, but that’s perfectly fine. Now cut the dough into 9 squares. This will help later when removing the rolls when they’re done. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, by which time they should be cooked through. The rolls should be golden brown on top and spring back when touched.
