Layered dessert with chocolate crunchy muesli, cherries and cream cheese

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 jars of sour cherries
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp cinnamon
  • 600 g cream cheese
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 90 ml milk
  • 100 ml egg liqueur
  • 400 g sweet cream
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of muesli (chocolate crunchy muesli)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

with eggnog

Drain the sour cherries and place them in a large bowl, preferably a glass one, so you’ll be able to see the layers later. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top. Mix the cream cheese, quark, powdered sugar, and milk together and pour over the cherries. Pour the eggnog over the cherries. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and spread over the eggnog. Refrigerate the bowl for about 2 hours. One hour before serving, spread a thick layer of chocolate granola over the cream.
