Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g margarine
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 500 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 100 g sour cream
  • 80 ml oil
  • 240 ml milk
  • 1 small can/mandarin orange(s)
  • 1 pack of cake glaze, clear

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Make a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients and refrigerate. In a mixing bowl, mix the quark, eggs, and sugar by hand. Combine the vanilla pudding, oil, sour cream, and milk and fold into the quark mixture. After about 45 minutes, roll out the shortcrust pastry and place it in a prepared 26cm springform pan. Pour the quark mixture on top (it will be very runny, but will set well during baking) and scatter the mandarins on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes. Let the cake cool. Prepare the glaze according to the package instructions and glaze the cake with it.
