  • 4 cucumber(s), sour (depending on size)
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 slice(s) of cheese (you can use processed cheese slices)
  • Tomato ketchup

Instructions

Heat the Leberkäse in the oven on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at approximately 160°C. Thinly slice the cucumbers lengthwise, halve the onions and also slice them thinly. If you prefer, briefly sauté the onions in a little fat in a pan until they brown. When the Leberkäse is hot, spread a little ketchup on each slice, top with sliced ​​onions and cucumbers, and cover with cheese. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese has melted. Tip: We like to serve it with mashed potatoes with roasted onions and a cucumber salad with sour cream dressing.
