Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 class can/n pineapple rings (236 g EW)
- 2 slice(s) of Leberkäse (approx. 100 g each)
- 2 tsp butter
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of farmhouse bread, fresh
- 2 tsp mustard
- some parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Drain the pineapple rings and let them drain. Brown the Leberkäse (meatloaf) and pineapple rings in 2 teaspoons of melted butter in a non-stick pan. Turn the Leberkäse over, then place the pineapple rings on top. Top each with a slice of Cheddar cheese. Cover and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Toast the farmhouse bread in a toaster until light brown and spread each with 1 teaspoon of mustard. Top with the baked Leberkäse slices, sprinkle with some chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
