Leek and carrot pan with smoked pork

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 carrots
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 2 slices of smoked pork
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 150 g cheese (cooked cheese with caraway)
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 100 ml milk or broth
  • salt and pepper
  • Rapeseed oil
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and trim the vegetables. Slice the carrots and fry in oil. Slice the leek into rings and fry with the meat. Dice the smoked pork and fry with the meat. Crush in the garlic. Deglaze with milk or broth, add the cheese, season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar, and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Finally, sprinkle the chopped parsley over the dish. Serve with rice or fresh bread. Of course, you can also replace the liquid with white wine. The dish is a fictional one.
