Leek and Potato Stew

The perfect leek and potato stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Rods Leek
  • 300 g Potato
  • 1 Onion
  • 200 g Raw Krakow
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 30 g Butter
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Clean and wash the leek and cut into 1 cm thick slices
  1. Peel and roughly dice the potatoes
  1. Finely dice the onion
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the leek, potatoes and onion in it
  1. Pour the vegetable stock, add the bay leaves, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg
  1. Let simmer until the vegetables are cooked firm to the bite
  1. Dice the raw Krakauer, add and bring to the boil again
