Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 250 g garlic sausage, in a ring
  • 150 g Gouda, in one piece or in cubes
  • 2 leeks, approx. 450 g
  • 1 tbsp oil, neutral
  • 40 ml water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, drain well, and quickly rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Cut the garlic sausage into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices and dice into approximately 0.5 cm thick pieces. Trim, wash, and thinly slice the leek. Cut the Gouda cheese into 2 x 2 cm cubes or buy ready-made cubes. Heat a 28 cm frying pan with a lid over medium heat, add oil, and brown the garlic sausage to taste. Add the leek rings and fry for about 5 minutes. Season well with salt and pepper. Add the spaghetti, toss everything well, and fry for about 3 minutes. Then scatter the cheese cubes evenly over the top, add 40 ml of water to the pan, and close the lid. Reduce the heat to very low and wait until the cheese has melted. This will take about 5 minutes.
