Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 700 ml grain beer
  • 700 g pear(s)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 walnuts
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • ½ packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 28 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 28 days 40 minutes

Wash, peel, quarter, and skin the pears and place them in a sealable container, such as a preserving jar. Add the walnuts, raisins, 3 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch. Seal the jar, place it in a dark place, and let it steep for 4 weeks. Strain the pears and briefly boil the schnapps with 200 g of sugar. Then bottle.
