Leek with minced meat

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 6 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 kg minced beef
  • 1 jar of ajvar
  • 3 tbsp broth
  • Salt and pepper, possibly garlic
  • 1 jar tomato peppers, finely chopped
  • 2 onions
  • oil
  • 1 flatbread(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash and chop the leek. Fill a pot with water, then simmer the leek in a covered pan for about 15 minutes. Brown the minced meat and onions in a pan with a little oil. Then add the ajvar and tomato and pepper, salt, and pepper, and a little garlic, if desired. Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour the broth over the leek, stir, and then add the minced meat to the pot with the leek, mixing well. Heat the bread in the oven and serve with the side dish.
