Lemon Cake from Plate

The perfect lemon cake from plate recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 350 g Margarine
  • 350 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Lemon sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 6 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 350 g Flour
  • 2 Pc. Lemons or 3 pcs.
  • 1 packet Powdered sugar
  1. Put the margarine together with the sugar, lemon sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl and stir for about 2 minutes at the highest level. Gradually add the eggs and stir again and again in between. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add in small portions. Mix everything with to a uniform mass.
  2. Preheat the oven, circulating air about 160 degrees on the middle rail. Grease the baking sheet (or a larger one) or line it with baking paper or aluminum foil, distribute the dough evenly on top. Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  3. When the cake is ready, pour the juice of 1 or 2 lemons on top. Then mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice to a glaze and spread on the cake
