Lemon cream on berry mirror with thyme

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp, heaped yogurt, firm
  • 2 lemon(s), juice and zest
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 100 g strawberries, frozen
  • 100 g blueberries, frozen
  • 4 stalks thyme, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

quick dessert that tastes good even without thyme

Thaw the berries and puree them. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Grate the lemon zest and add it to the cream, along with the squeezed lemon juice. Carefully stir in the yogurt and powdered sugar. Serve the berry glaze on plates. I always make a ring and place the lemon curd in the center. Garnish each with a sprig of thyme, so everyone can decide for themselves whether they like it or whether the combination of sweet and savory isn’t quite right.
