- 250 g butter, soft
- 125 g double cream cheese
- 150g lemon curd
- 200 g powdered sugar

Cream the softened butter for at least 5-10 minutes until fluffy. Add the cream cheese and lemon curd and beat on high speed until the ingredients are completely incorporated and the mixture is light and fluffy. If necessary, loosen the cream from the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Sift the icing sugar and slowly add it to the lemon curd, stirring until the ingredients are thoroughly blended. Mix on high speed for another 2 minutes. Tip: If you like, you can add a little lemon zest or lemon flavoring before adding the icing sugar. If you don’t need the buttercream right away, it can be kept in the refrigerator for a few days, but it must be whipped again before use.
