Lemon soda cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 pack flavoring (lemon sugar)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 ml lemonade
  • 2 packs of drink powder (effervescent powder, lemon flavor)
  • ½ package of powdered sugar
  • 2 packs of drink powder (effervescent powder, orange flavor)
  • some lemonade for the glaze
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with Ahoi Brause powder in the dough and in the glaze

Cream the butter or margarine until light and fluffy. Gradually add the sugar, lemon sugar, and salt. Then beat in the eggs, one at a time. Mix the lemon soda powder with the flour and baking powder and add to the mixture a spoonful at a time. Finally, add the lemon soda and mix until a smooth batter is formed. Either pour the batter into a fruit cake tin or spread it evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C on the middle rack for approx. 20-30 minutes. The baking time may vary depending on the tin. Once cooled, turn out onto a wire rack. Mix the powdered sugar with the two sachets of orange soda and mix with a little lemon soda to form a smooth glaze. Spread the glaze evenly over the cake with a brush or spoon and allow to set.
