Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 ml liqueur (Limoncello)
  • 4 lemons
  • 1 package of ladyfingers
  • 25 g white chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

with limoncello and mascarpone

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar for 10 minutes until thick and creamy. The consistency should be very stiff. Carefully stir in the mascarpone, ensuring the mixture isn’t too runny. Squeeze the lemons, mix the juice with the limoncello, and pour into a deep dish. Toss the ladyfingers in the juice (do not soak them!) and line the bottom of a small, shallow dish. Then spread a layer of mascarpone cream on top. Add another layer of ladyfingers dipped in the juice, and then another layer of mascarpone cream. Finely grate the white chocolate coating and spread it on top. Leave to set in the refrigerator overnight.
