lemonade

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 limes or lemons
  • 5 tsp, heaped sugar
  • ½ bottle of sparkling mineral water, ice-cold
  • n. B. ice cubes
  • e.g. lemon(s) or lime(s), sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Place the bottle of water in the freezer for about an hour. Meanwhile, squeeze the limes (lemons work too, but limes taste better) and filter the juice through a sieve. Add the sugar and stir until it has completely dissolved. Remove the bottle from the freezer and carefully measure out 400 ml (without losing any of the carbonation) and pour it into the glass. Warm the ice cubes with your hand for 10 seconds (this will reduce the carbonation when pouring into the glass) and carefully pour them into the glass. Then carefully and slowly pour the lime syrup into the glass. Stick a straw into the glass and stir slowly once. Cut a slice of lemon or lime from the edge to the middle and place it on the rim of the glass. Stir carefully every now and then while drinking. This is because over time the syrup and the sugar dissolved in it will settle to the bottom of the glass.
