Lemon tea

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 liter of boiling water
  • 3 tsp black tea, loose (East Frisian blend), or 3 tea bags
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Iced tea, refreshing summer drink

Pour boiling water over the tea and let it steep for about 4-5 minutes. Strain the tea through a sieve or discard the tea bag or tea strainer. Add lemon juice (freshly squeezed is best) and sugar and stir. Let the tea cool (if you want it to cool faster, you can place the teapot in a cold water bath). Serve with ice cubes.
