Lenilotta’s Spaetzle Pot

The perfect lenilotta’s spaetzle pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Large onions
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 250 g Minced meat
  • 250 ml Red wine e.g. Trollinger
  • 4 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 1 cups Sweet cream
  • 3 Discs Gouda cheese
  • Butter
  • Pepper, thyme, salt
  • 500 g Spaetzle
  1. Boil the spaetzle while preparing the sauce:
  2. Peel and dice the onions and sauté in butter.
  3. Knead the minced garlic clove with the minced meat, add to the onions and fry. Then deglaze with the wine.
  4. Add tomato market, pepper, thyme and salt and season to taste.
  5. Finally fold in the finely chopped parsley.
  6. Mix the meat sauce with the boiled spaetzle and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. 1 Pour a cup of sweet cream over it and cover with 3 slices of Gouda cheese.
  8. Butter flakes are added to the Gouda.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at approx. 180 degrees.
  10. Go with green salad
