Lightning-fast balsamic vinaigrette with jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tsp jam without pieces
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Water
  • possibly sugar if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 3 minutes

Goes great with lamb’s lettuce

Simply put all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix with a fork or whisk until everything is combined. Add a little more jam to taste. You may also want to add a little water, as the jam makes the dressing rather thick. Season with salt and pepper, or add a little sugar if you find it too sour. I’ve used the following jams: blackcurrant, strawberry, apricot, wild berries, and even plum jam – they all taste delicious. Just experiment and see what you like and what you have in the fridge. Finely chopped dried figs (they’re delicious and crunchy when you bite into them) and finely chopped walnuts go well with the lamb’s lettuce and the dressing.
