Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 350 g macaroni
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g minced beef
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • butter
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp cheese, grated

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

without tomatoes

Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Sauté the diced onion with the ground meat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Crack the eggs and mix with the broth and milk. Combine the pasta and ground meat in a greased casserole dish and pour over the milk mixture. Sprinkle with small pieces of butter, breadcrumbs, and grated cheese and bake the casserole at 200°C for about 30 minutes. In Finland, it’s often a favorite dish with children and is served with ketchup.
