Lime and Grapefruit Jelly

The perfect lime and grapefruit jelly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 Pc. Organic limes
  • 2 Pc. Organic lemons
  • 1 liter Grapefruit juice
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • Lemon balm fresh / as desired
  1. Juice the limes with the help of a citrus press and pass this through a fine sieve. Pour the juice into a measuring cup (at least 1 liter). Now peel the peel of a (thoroughly washed) organic lemon very thinly so that none of the white, inner peel is on it. Cut this shell into very fine strips. Squeeze both lemons and pass the juice through a sieve. Fill up the fruit juice obtained in this way with grapefruit juice up to one liter. Bring the juice, lemon peel and preserving sugar to the boil until it foams until it is bubbly. Now add a few lemon balm leaves if you like. Pour the hot jelly into well-cleaned jam jars and allow to cool.
