Lime Chicken
The perfect lime chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Chicken breasts
- 1 Fresh lime
- 50 ml Coconut milk
- 1 piece Clove of garlic
- 2 tablespoon Rice oil
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- Ground turmeric spice
- 0,5 liter Rose wine
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 pinch Thyme
- 1 tbsp Vegetable broth
- 1 shot Balsamic cream
- Wash the meat and cut into bite-sized pieces. Put a little in rice oil in a plate, sprinkle with thyme and fry in a pan. Peel the garlic clove and cut into 2 halves and add to the meat. When the meat is almost done through, sprinkle with turmeric until the meat takes on a nice yellow color. Season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with 1/2 liter of rose wine. Add half a glass of water and 50ml coconut milk. Halve the lime and squeeze the juice into the sauce. Add a teaspoon of honey and a short dash of balsamic cream to the sauce. Then season with vegetable stock to taste. Rice and broccoli are ideal as side dishes.
